The Easiest Affiliate System To Earn Money Without A Website or Blog

Using Pinterest and these two clever automated tools, you can become an affiliate powerhouse with little effort, and earn money without a website.

I’ve been meaning to pen this one for a while, but I needed to see if it worked.

The long and short of it? It has been so far.

And with consistent posting, Pinterest has turned into a non-stop, timeless traffic engine for my offers and my writing.

I don’t have to even edit images on Canva. This new method is so simple, I can’t believe it took me as long as it did to notice it.

To put it simply: Grok Imagine, Tailwind, and Pin.

That’s it.

Here are the full steps I take to keep my writing, my products and my sites seen:

Step 1: ChatGPT

The obvious first stop for me was ChatGPT. I wanted to make sure I had the right kind of image prompt for Chat so that Grok wouldn’t fumble and make something weird.

Sometimes, when you directly ask for a “Pinterest Pin” it will generate a photo of a “pin” complete with the Pinterest logo and other… additions.

Nevermind that.

For this example, I’m promoting this article:

How I’m Building Passive Income with Sharesies (And Why I Trust It)

A long-term investor’s take on micro-investing, dividends, and the new Sharesies debit card for New Zealand users

If you’d like to open it in a new tab, it’s an article I wrote about this amazing investing platform with a new debit card that invests 1% of all purchases (instead of frequent flyers or boring cashback), as well as being how I’m building passive income.

This is the prompt I put into ChatGPT:

Here is what Chat gave me:

📸 Prompt for Image Generation
A bold, eye-catching graphic showing a dynamic stock market theme (charts, dividend symbols, coins growing into trees, or small everyday purchases turning into investments). Include a confident, inspiring overlay text that reads:

“I turned micro-investing into real passive income — starting with just $5.”
Then add a compelling CTA:
“Tap to read how I’m doing it with Sharesies and why I trust it.”

Style notes: high-contrast modern design, financial growth vibes, motivational energy, easy to read on mobile scroll, NZ-friendly investment aesthetic.

Step 2: Grok Imagine

Grok Imagine, from xAI, is a gamechanger. It doesn’t just generate one image, but SEVERAL at once.

With the prompt I copied over from Chat, I did add at the end “Use an elegant font”.

Here are the results?

See that little symbol that says “Schedule” on the bottom of the first image? That’s because I signed up for Tailwind and installed the browser addon.

Step 3: Schedule with Tailwind

Tailwind. | Screencap by Author

Tailwind does require a paid subscription, but it’s not much.

You can use Tailwind’s “smartpin” function, but it costs credits. With a basic subscription, you can instantly upload your Grok-generated pins and schedule them, complete with a link to your article or offer.

Do as many as you like, for as many different links as you like, and voila.

You have a timeless traffic system you can consistently add to.

In less than two hours, you can have a month’s worth of pins (at 5 a day) scheduled with no breaks.

However, here are some things to be mindful of:

  • The pinterest algorithm doesn’t like the same link being posted too much. Tailwind recommends spacing each pin for the same link 7 days
  • This means if you’ve got a lot of different articles or different pages to promote, you should keep a list of them and consistently make different pins for different links
  • Use ChatGPT to write different pin titles and descriptions too, so that you’re not always recyling the same words. Pinterest doesn’t like spam. No site does.

If you’re interested in affiliate marketing or promoting your writing, bookmark this article, try out the Grok + Tailwind + Pinterest method, and come back here to let me know how you got on after 30 days.
